  • Solid knowledge of construction techniques and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret plans and technical specifications.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage work teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established deadlines.
  • Availability to work at different construction sites.
  • Completed secondary education.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct the work crew in carrying out assigned tasks.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and work orders to ensure correct project execution.
  • Assign tasks, establish priorities, and monitor work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Train workers in the correct use of equipment and tools.
  • Conduct quality inspections of completed work and correct deviations.
  • Report work progress and any incidents or problems to the direct supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other foremen and construction personnel to optimize productivity.
  • Manage the inventory of materials and equipment in the work area.
Desired Qualifications
  • Occupational safety certification, such as OSHA 10/30.
  • Technical training in construction.
