Requirements
  • At least 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably across multiple websites or brands.
  • Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page and content SEO.
  • Proven experience improving organic visibility, traffic and conversions.
  • Proficiency in Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Screaming Frog and keyword-research tools.
  • Good working knowledge of WordPress and website content-management systems.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and website-development principles relevant to SEO.
  • Experience working directly with web developers to resolve technical issues.
  • Strong keyword research, content briefing and competitor-analysis skills.
  • Understanding of international and local SEO.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Successful applicants must complete pre-employment checks, including a criminal records check, two references, identity and right-to-work verification, and education confirmation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement SEO plans aligned with the objectives of each brand.
  • Conduct keyword research, search-intent analysis, competitor analysis and content-gap assessments.
  • Build keyword strategies for programmes, services, locations, campaigns and priority audience segments.
  • Translate SEO recommendations into clear actions, deadlines and measurable targets.
  • Manage SEO activity across multiple websites, brands and geographical markets.
  • Stay informed about search-engine updates and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular technical SEO audits using Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Identify and help resolve issues relating to crawling, indexing, redirects, canonicals, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data and duplicate content.
  • Work closely with the web developer to implement technical recommendations.
  • Monitor website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and overall site performance.
  • Review website migrations, redesigns and new-page launches to protect organic visibility.
  • Test implemented changes and ensure technical issues are fully resolved.
  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links, image attributes and on-page content.
  • Create detailed SEO briefs for new website pages, landing pages and blog content.
  • Review existing content and identify opportunities to improve rankings, engagement and conversions.
  • Ensure pages are optimized for relevant keywords without compromising readability or brand quality.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal-linking structures across websites.
  • Support local and international SEO requirements where relevant.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop SEO-led content strategies.
  • Collaborate with content, social media, design and web development colleagues to deliver SEO projects.
  • Identify content topics based on search demand, audience questions, competitor performance and business priorities.
  • Review and optimize content before publication.
  • Ensure content is accurate, useful, original and aligned with the search intent of the target audience.
  • Monitor content performance and recommend updates, consolidation or removal where required.
  • Identify relevant link-building, digital PR and partnership opportunities.
  • Monitor website authority and backlink profiles.
  • Identify and report potentially harmful or irrelevant backlinks.
  • Work with internal teams to develop authoritative and link-worthy content.
  • Track competitor backlink activity and identify realistic opportunities for Regent Group brands.
  • Monitor organic traffic, rankings, impressions, clicks, engagement, conversions and lead quality.
  • Use GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush and other tools to evaluate SEO performance.
  • Produce regular reports for the Marketing Manager, clearly explaining results, challenges and recommended actions.
  • Track SEO performance through to leads and conversions wherever possible.
  • Maintain accurate reporting dashboards for multiple brands and websites.
  • Use performance data to continuously improve SEO activity.

  • Understanding of international and local SEO would be advantageous.
