Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical system experience in fastening, epoxy application, component fabrication, or wiring harness manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in comprehending and improving manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Ability to conceptualize assembly processes from computer-aided design models.
  • Access to Controlled Unclassified Information, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and Export Administration Regulations controlled information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to share knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to accept feedback, learn, and consistently improve.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble production motor drive systems and subsystems.
  • Handle, mix, and work with process chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production processing equipment.
  • Read, comprehend, and perform technical processes defined by internal work instructions, standards, or other specifications.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and design engineers regarding assembly process issues and improvements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience assembling flight-qualified aerospace parts.
  • Experience with brazing, soldering, milling, turning, and epoxy encapsulation.
  • Experience with printed circuit board assembly and wire harnessing.
  • Experience developing novel manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards, such as ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience with AS9100 supply chain practices.
  • Experience with tool calibration processes.
  • An associate's or technical trade degree.

Its HPDM-250 targets defense applications requiring maximum power per weight, delivering 12 kW per kilogram and scalable from 30 kW to 30 MW. The product relies on optimized electromagnetics, synergistic cooling, and fault-tolerant power electronics to achieve high efficiency and integration. The goal is to provide compact, efficient drive systems for defense platforms where high power and low weight matter, differentiating itself with extreme power density and integrated packaging.
