About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Revenue Operations or a closely related go-to-market operations role at a B2B SaaS company; early-stage experience and scope spanning more than Sales are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience as the HubSpot administrator of record, including ownership of objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, permissions, forms, lifecycle stages, campaigns, and attribution.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems with a CRM and owning the data model on both sides of the integration.
  • Experience building an end-to-end funnel, including lifecycle definitions, routing, service-level agreements, and attribution trusted by Marketing and Sales.
  • Experience owning a weekly forecast cadence, producing roll-ups, and reconciling CRM data to leadership forecasts.
  • Knowledge of annual recurring revenue classifications, renewals, net revenue retention, and modeling these in a CRM for Finance.
  • Experience calculating commissions and executing deal-desk processes.
  • Ability to improve data quality at its source, collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, and work hands-on in an evolving team-of-one function.
Responsibilities
  • Own HubSpot as the system of record across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, including objects, properties, pipelines, lifecycle stages, workflows, permissions, and dashboards.
  • Own the surrounding go-to-market technology stack and integrations, evaluate new tools, connect selected tools, and retire unneeded tools.
  • Maintain data hygiene at the source by removing junk records, correcting deal-to-company and parent-account links, and establishing rules that prevent bad data.
  • Define shared lifecycle stages and explicit handoffs from first customer touch through renewal.
  • Ensure every lead is recorded in HubSpot with its source, including trade shows, field events, the website, referrals, and outbound.
  • Own lead routing, qualification rules, and response service-level agreements between Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales.
  • Build attribution that shows which Marketing programs and events generate pipeline and revenue.
  • Run the weekly forecast cadence and maintain the data used in forecast reviews.
  • Build capacity, territory, and quota models for hiring and planning, and partner with Finance on annual planning.
  • Deliver shared business metrics, including pipeline, stage conversion, win rate, customer acquisition cost, and net revenue retention.
  • Ensure all contracts, including renewals created when the original deal closes, are recorded in HubSpot.
  • Classify closed-won deals as new, upsell, or downsell and link replacement deals so Finance's annual recurring revenue bridge, commission credit, and net revenue retention use consistent data.
  • Maintain accurate parent and child account structures as customers consolidate under common ownership.
  • Run commissions end to end by preparing data, applying the plan, resolving disputes, and delivering payout files to Finance on schedule.
  • Run the deal desk, including generating agreements from CRM line items, obtaining pricing approvals, and aligning contract terms with Finance billing.
  • Own the data handoff from Sales to Implementation to Customer Success.
  • Set up renewal and expansion triggers from contract dates and bring product-usage signals into the CRM to support renewals and upsells.
  • Standardize books-of-business views for account owners and Customer Success Managers.
  • Write a one-page guide for each field, stage, or process change and train the affected team on it.
  • Template systems onboarding, including access, tools, and first-week setup, for new go-to-market hires.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in event or field marketing operations, territory and capacity planning, or exposure to trades or construction.
  • Experience with Nooks, Attention, PandaDoc, Intercom, PostHog, or a configure-price-quote system.
  • SQL skills and comfort directing AI tools to build reports and automations.
  • A background in Finance or on the sales floor.

Rebar Closes $14M Series A Led by Prudence to Rapidly Scale its AI Platform for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing Industries

Rebar closes $14M Series A led by Prudence to rapidly scale its AI platform for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing industries. Less than a year into commercialization, the company is working with multiple large enterprise customers across thousands of projects per month NEW YORK-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Rebar, a vertical AI platform building the core operating system for the HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing industries, announced the closing of a $14 million Series A financing. The round was led by Prudence, an early-stage venture firm investing in vertical AI companies leading the global transformation of the built world, with participation from Zero Infinity Partners, Founder Collective, Villain Capital and Optimist Ventures. Rebar's proprietary vertical AI platform automates the processing of construction documents such as blueprints and spec books, extracting tens of thousands of data points from every new project. The company is leveraging this technology to automate the estimating and quoting process, fundamentally changing the ability for its customers - starting with HVAC contractors and distributors - to deliver quotes quickly and accurately. A process that has typically taken hours or even days can now be completed in minutes with greater levels of accuracy. "I spent years completing estimates by hand and have a deep understanding of this process that industry participants deal with every day," said Evan Brown, CEO of Rebar. "This is a pain point that previously seemed unsolvable with legacy technology, but leveraging our proprietary AI platform, contractors and distributors can spend less time buried in back-office work and more time with customers, winning new business." Quoting is one of the most critical workflows in construction, yet it remains highly tedious and manual. Historically, stakeholders have had to manually review large sets of architectural plans, in some cases amounting to hundreds of pages, in order to generate a quote for each job. Legacy technologies have been nothing more than a digital replication of the pen-and-paper process. Using Rebar, contractors and distributors are delivering more bids at a lower cost, leading to higher win rates and increased revenue. "HVAC, electrical and plumbing are massive end markets that have historically had very little purpose-built technology and rely mainly on manual processes," said Jordan Viniar, General Partner at Prudence. "By leveraging Rebar's proprietary AI platform, these businesses are leapfrogging software and adopting a solution that is orchestrating and automating end-to-end workflows. This is orders of magnitude better than anything this end market has seen before and is both a cost saver and revenue generator. The Rebar team is perfectly positioned to capitalize on this opportunity with their mix of industry expertise and deep technical capabilities." The funding will further fuel the expansion of Rebar's operating system, allowing the company to build additional agentic solutions solving pain points for more workflows and additional stakeholders across the HVAC value chain. The company is also planning to expand its product into adjacent verticals, such as electrical and plumbing, and to additional geographies both in the U.S. and internationally. About Rebar Rebar has developed the AI operating system for the HVAC industry, leveraging their proprietary models to automate the estimating and quoting process for contractors and distributors. Customers can quote jobs in minutes instead of hours or even days, allowing them to submit more bids at a lower cost and win more business. For more information visit www.withrebar.ai.
