Requirements
  • A recognized nursing diploma and registration with the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ) are required.
  • At least one year of prior experience in an emergency or intensive care environment is desired.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make rapid, effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
Responsibilities
  • Quickly assess patients' conditions and prioritize care according to the severity of their conditions.
  • Administer medical treatments and continuously monitor patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate care plans.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of care and interventions performed.
  • Participate in educating and supporting families of patients in critical situations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of English is an asset.
