Green Thumb Industries defies industry trends with strong second quarter financials.

Green Thumb Industries defies industry trends with strong second quarter financials. September 29, 2026 Green Thumb Industries, a leading cannabis retailer, has bucked the trend in the industry by reporting strong financials in its second quarter. The company generated $306.7 million in revenue, $84.3 million in normalized earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA), and $29 million in operating cash flow. Additionally, Green Thumb reported a net income of $4.9 million under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This impressive performance is a rare feat in the U.S. cannabis industry, where many companies struggle to achieve consistent profitability and cash flow. Green Thumb's strong balance sheet provides the company with valuable financial flexibility, setting it apart from its competitors. Despite its strong financials, Green Thumb's market capitalization remains relatively low at around $1.7 billion. This may be due to the company's continued growth, which is expected to drive future success. As the U.S. cannabis industry continues to evolve, with potential federal reform on the horizon, Green Thumb is well-positioned to capitalize on these opportunities and achieve long-term upside.
