Requirements
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years with an Advanced Degree (such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • Ability to develop enduring strategic relationships with internal and external clients across the organization.
  • Experience closing sales and understanding the debit and credit payments space and financial services.
  • At least 9 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 7 relevant years with an Advanced Degree (such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD), or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Relevant experience at a large management or IT consulting firm or US financial institution delivering payments-industry technology solutions and services, including money movement, dispute or pre-dispute, instalments, workflow orchestration, or core banking for consumer, small-business, and commercial clients.
  • Experience working in a techno-functional capacity, mediating between business functions and technology teams.
  • Client engagement lifecycle management experience, including proposal creation, pricing, pitching, statement-of-work writing, and execution oversight.
  • Technology mindset and familiarity with current digital trends and applications.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects concurrently and work effectively with interdisciplinary groups.
  • Ability to use formal and informal influencing skills inside and outside the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives to uncover client needs and challenges and identify potential managed-services opportunities.
  • Engage proactively with internal teams in product and technology strategy and planning discussions.
  • Present Visa or partner solutions that address client needs.
  • Identify client decision-making stakeholders and processes.
  • Manage a sales pipeline within an identified client target list and sell consulting work against a sales target.
  • Maintain internal system records for pricing approvals, internal routing, legal and funding approvals, and revenue recognition.
  • Identify white-space challenges and opportunities across client sets.
  • Develop bespoke and scalable products leveraging Visa assets and, where needed, third-party partner assets.
  • Identify third-party partners who can complement and supplement solution sets.
  • Work with delivery partners to present Visa solutions for implementation that address client needs and growth initiatives.
  • Deliver projects and programs with strong project and program management.
  • Communicate technical and non-technical aspects of solutions.
  • Work across Visa clients ranging from institutional banking relationships to fintech startups.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership, diagnose problems, and deliver high-impact solutions that support client growth and performance.
