Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree-level qualification in a scientific discipline with a minimum 2.1 classification or equivalent.
  • An aptitude for and experience of planning and writing scientific documents, such as lab reports, dissertations, poster or oral presentations, website or student-magazine articles, peer-reviewed scientific publications, book chapters, grant applications, and regulatory documents.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and eagerness to learn and develop relevant skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage time across multiple simultaneous projects and prioritise tasks appropriately.
  • Exceptional written English for client work, email communication, and internal messaging.
  • Effective verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and clients.
  • The ability to tailor communication style to healthcare professionals, patient groups, suppliers, clients, non-scientific colleagues, and governmental bodies.
  • A proactive mindset, including the ability to recognise challenges and suggest solutions with limited guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse clinical trial data and create materials for a range of audiences and formats.
  • Work closely with clients, including participating in teleconferences and face-to-face meetings.
  • Support project management and client communication alongside experienced colleagues.
  • Manage multiple projects across different disease areas simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with teams across the company to develop a broad understanding of service offerings and clients.
  • Within Publications, develop abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and oral presentations for major international conferences.
  • Provide on-site support during major international conferences and other events.
  • Contribute to regulatory documents, plain-language summaries, and policy-focused publications.
  • Within Medical Affairs, support medical education events, advisory boards, and medical information resources.
  • Communicate the scientific foundation behind products to clients, healthcare professionals, patients, and other audiences.
  • Collaborate with expert advisors and event speakers and support events on-site.
  • Present complex scientific information clearly to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
Desired Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous but not required.
  • Applicants from academia transitioning into a commercial, industry-based setting are welcomed.
