Requirements
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, including data analysis and formatting usable tables and evaluation documents.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control and associated data analysis.
  • Proficiency in reading and generating charts and graphs, with troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of the practical use of quality measuring devices.
  • Ability to interact with other departments.
  • Record-keeping and training skills.
  • Knowledge of drawings, SPI's, contracts, standards, and specifications.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government under U.S. export control regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Perform technician assignments supporting quality and test departmental programs, services, and activities.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards for production in assigned areas through leadership, delegation, and example.
  • Participate in meetings with Production, Test, and Management personnel to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
  • Make decisions using quality acceptance criteria and seek assistance through research, past experience, or supervisors when criteria are unknown.
  • Identify ways to improve product performance, quality, and integrity through tools, training, or equipment redesign.
  • Work with Engineering to incorporate ideas that improve product and performance.
  • Track employee records, ensure training is current, and provide input on employee competence.
  • Interact with employees, customers, external auditors, and government-contracted inspectors.
  • Communicate ideas, work instructions, and expectations efficiently and respectfully.
  • Read drawings, SPI's, contracts, standards, and specifications to understand customer requirements and translate them into SOPs, IPs, and work orders.
  • Travel occasionally to represent the company at other facilities, vendors, and contractors.
  • Follow the company's ethics and business conduct policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree from an accredited school.
