Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience.
  • EPA Certification, Type I and II or Universal, is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, and general maintenance is required.
  • Ability to work weekends and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Commitment to delivering customer service and maintaining a high-quality resident experience.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations and vendor work in partnership with the Community Manager.
  • Lead and support the maintenance team with troubleshooting and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general building systems.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs, including inspections, life-safety systems, lighting, HVAC filters, and common-area upkeep.
  • Oversee service requests and apartment turns, ensuring quality work and timely completion.
  • Maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and curb appeal of the community.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, equipment, and vendor invoices.
  • Assist with budgeting, cost controls, and capital improvement projects.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop maintenance team members while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and AMLI policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections and property walks to identify maintenance needs and proactively address issues.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
