About the company

City Fitness runs neighborhood gyms for people seeking exercise equipment, coached workouts and recovery amenities. Members train on strength and cardio equipment, join studio classes such as cycling and yoga, or pay separately for more personalized coaching. Its membership tiers combine different levels of club access, class booking and recovery services, allowing customers to choose between basic gym use and a broader fitness routine. The operator earns revenue from paid memberships and additional training, with facilities designed to bring several workout formats together rather than requiring separate studio subscriptions. Founded in 2007, City Fitness is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
