Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in publishing industry or similar
  • Knowledge of digital publishing and/or processes an asset
  • Experience working with Excel is required
  • Experience communicating with external clients is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Asana and JIRA an asset but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, organize, and analyze data
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong initiative, and the ability to keep cool under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal skills, including good judgment on when to get face-to-face over Zoom, quick message over Slack, or email
  • Ability to work independently with a decentralized team working across borders and time zones
  • Comfortable reaching out to team members with questions or if they foresee issues with project delivery
Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for publishers and distributors with questions regarding selling content on Kobo, contracts, sales reports, and payment issues
  • Support Project Specialist, Publisher Relations, and Finance teams with contract, sales report investigations, and publisher payment issues
  • Assist with publisher configuration and onboarding. Maintain configuration tracker to monitor progress of publisher onboarding
