- Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps practices in embedded systems.
- A Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Engineering, or Master of Technology degree with an electronics background.
- Five to eight years of experience.
- Define end-to-end embedded software architecture across drivers, middleware, and application layers.
- Design scalable solutions across microcontroller and system-on-chip platforms, real-time operating systems, and hardware abstraction layers.
- Assess emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, and data platforms, to improve embedded platform engineering and automation.
- Architect systems for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
- Translate business and system requirements into technical architecture.
- Facilitate architecture discussions and design reviews across teams.
- Drive innovative initiatives and proof-of-concepts.
- Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
- Establish and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for embedded systems.
- Develop core firmware for embedded controllers, including highly reliable real-time software running on microcontrollers.
- Write low-level drivers, implement control algorithms for temperature and energy management, and develop communication stacks.
- Develop firmware that interfaces physical hardware such as sensors, motors, and compressors with higher-level system logic.
- Use real-time operating systems or bare-metal development to support precise timing, system stability, and safety compliance.
- ISAQB certification.
