  • At least 6 years of experience in investment management or financial advisory services, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-driven, proactive approach and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture lasting client relationships by providing holistic investment analysis, financial planning, tax strategies, charitable planning, estate planning, and related services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external advisors, including certified public accountants and attorneys, to craft holistic, tailored wealth plans.
  • Secure high-net-worth clients through internal client transitions, channel partners and SAN, personal networks, referral relationships, and centers of influence.
  • Utilize internal resources, including investment, wealth planning, trust and estate, client service, legal and compliance, business development, and marketing teams.
  • Lead and manage client review meetings to ensure objectives, goals, and planning needs are up to date and aligned.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior client associates and emerging advisors who support clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) credential or another industry designation is preferred.

Former BlackRock director Carolyn Barnette joins Freestone Capital Management as managing director

Barnette will develop market and portfolio insights for client advisers, translating complex investment information into clear communications. She brings 17 years of industry experience, including 13 years at BlackRock. Freestone Capital acquires 106-unit multifamily property in Seattle for $32.2M. September 1, 2026 SEATTLE - Freestone Capital has acquired Aperture on Fifth, a 106-unit multifamily property located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood of Seattle. PrivatePortfolio GroupFreestone Capital sold the property for $32.2 million, or $304,245 per unit. Giovanni Napoli, Philip Assouad, Ryan Harmon, Nick Ruggiero and Anthony Palladino of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap, represented the seller and procured the buyer, both of which are Seattle-based, in the transaction. Built in 2014, Aperture on Fifth comprises studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments along with a central atrium courtyard, rooftop deck with a bocce ball court, fitness center, bike storage, package lockers, pet wash area and an underground parking garage. Some units feature views of the Space Needle and the downtown Seattle skyline.
