About the job
- Technical education, vocational training, or a degree related to production control, logistics, supply chain, or administration is required.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in the aerospace sector is required.
- Experience with MRTT and knowledge of military aircraft systems are required.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK or Agile, and experience using MS Project or similar tools, are required.
- Experience with Pelícano Plus is required.
- Experience designing manufacturing or maintenance processes and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing are required.
- Knowledge of EASA Part-145 and ISO 9001 is required.
- Experience preparing technical manuals, procedures, and reports, and using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is required.
- Coordinate with the customer team to ensure activity coverage.
- Support daily execution by tracking planning and updating it periodically.
- Prepare periodic reports in line with committed delivery dates.
- Prepare and release material orders, and manage order changes and cancellations.
- Follow up with logistics and production through meetings and meeting minutes.
- Control the on-site receipt and allocation of materials.
- Manage returns at the end of the event, control obsolete or damaged materials, and manage expiry dates.
- Plan and execute shipments and returns in line with the schedule, and track materials, tools, and equipment.
- Manage loans of AGEs, tools, and industrial equipment and ensure they are completed on time.
- Open and close the aircraft Logbook (ODM) on time and issue accurate opening and closing reports.
- Print and organize work orders, control the shopping cart and maintain its control file, record work hours, and update planning and cost files.
- Activate and track purchases of AGEs and equipment, accept received equipment, and monitor daily equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Coordinate repairs with suppliers and update equipment locations in the system to ensure operational availability.
- Verify that shipments and returns, scrap, loans, logbooks, shopping cart, work-hour records, planning and cost updates, and handovers with evidence and traceability are complete.
- Technically validate detected defects, compare them with applicable documentation such as manuals, SSBB, and WP, issue technical queries or provide support as needed, and ensure traceability through job cards or specific tasks.
- Knowledge of SAP PM is desirable.
