- Basic computer and math knowledge.
- Must be able to count money.
- Must be able to cheerfully and accurately complete point-of-sale transactions while interacting with customers, co-workers, and telephone customers.
- Must be able to simultaneously monitor entrance and exit points for shrinkage.
- Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to stand and walk for eight hours or more per day.
- Must be able to perform stooping, reaching, standing, walking, keyboarding, grasping, talking, feeling, hearing, and repetitive motion.
- Must have close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects and parts, and using measurement devices.
- Must be able to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work and make general observations of business activity.
- Must be able to operate a cash register, POS program, Eagle Browser, and OpenOffice.
- Must be able to work in environmental conditions where protected from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Complete point-of-sale transactions accurately while interacting with customers, co-workers, and telephone customers.
- Monitor store entrance and exit points for shrinkage.
- Meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations, convey genuine service, understand the customer perspective, and communicate to address customer expectations, needs, and concerns.
- Maintain ethical conduct, take responsibility for mistakes, keep commitments, and treat others with respect.
- Support group goals, accept different points of view, show respect for team members, and build relationships.
