Under the agreement, Sinovoltaics Switzerland is authorized to deliver inspections and audit, services for the Stäubli Photovoltaic and BESS offering. The partnership reflects Stäubli's strategy to expand high-quality, service for stakeholders across the PV and BESS asset lifecycle. As the installed base of utility-scale and commercial photovoltaic assets continues to grow, demand for field- and factory level performance assurance for critical connector components has intensified. Stäubli's authorized service network ensures operators receive services delivered to the manufacturer's technical standards, using Stäubli's proprietary know-how and documentation. Sinovoltaics is an independent technical services firm with deep expertise in inspection, quality assurance and PV & BESS asset management. As ASP, Sinovoltaics operates in its own name and on its own account, performing authorized services directly for Stäubli customers within the agreed territory. According to the press release, the expanded facility will house advanced automated assembly lines and enhanced quality assurance systems dedicated to the production of connectors, critical components that connect solar modules to inverters and balance-of-system equipment. "This investment strengthens our global supply capabilities and enables us to support customers worldwide with reliable, high-performance PV connector solutions produced to the highest quality and sustainability standards ," said Gerald Vogt, chief executive officer, Stäubli Group. The release added that the expanded Bangalore facility addresses this demand by enabling higher production volumes, reduced lead times, and improved supply chain resilience for OEMs, EPC players, and asset owners.
