- Ability to perform physically active cleaning tasks for most of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and repetitive motion.
- Comfort working inside vehicles, including tight spaces and elevated surfaces, and outdoors around the fleet.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum devices, water hoses, chemical products, or kits weighing up to 15 kg.
- Comfort using cleaning products and chemicals safely, including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments; training is provided.
- Follow company safety guidelines when handling chemical products.
- Comfort working in varying temperatures and weather conditions while washing or preparing vehicles outdoors.
- Ability to maintain cleaning quality and speed during high-volume operations and peak season.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal schedules.
- Ability to adapt to last-minute operational needs, such as urgent turnarounds or additional cleaning tasks.
- Clean and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet hygiene and appearance standards and ensure consistent high-quality results.
- Prepare campervans with required kits, bedding, and optional extras, ensuring readiness for bookings and check-in/check-out processes.
- Inspect vehicles upon return for cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and report issues for follow-up.
- Manage stock and consumables, including receiving, storing, and organizing supplies while reporting shortages or damages.
- Assist with depot logistics, keep cleaning areas organized, move vehicles, and support operational needs during peak times.
- Hospitality, warehouse, housekeeping, or operations experience.
- Proficiency in the local language, if applicable.

Indie Campers, a campervan rental platform, completed the second phase of its funding round, raising a total of €62.5 million. This phase, amounting to €27.5 million, was led by Indico Capital Partners with significant participation from Banco Português de Fomento. The investment will accelerate digital platform development and talent acquisition. Founded in 2013, Indie Campers aims to be the leading global road trip platform.
