Position Description:

We are looking for a Natural Gas Engineer to join our Industrial Commercial Energy Team to improve infrastructure in our Pittsburgh office. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and 5-10 years of similar work experience. Professional Engineer License is preferred. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.

Typical responsibilities include:

Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines.
Monitor task budget and progress.
Work with and mentor junior design team.
Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings.
Generate bill of materials.
Ability to work independently.
Create estimated time requirements for projects.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors.
Conduct on-site field walks as needed.
Prepare project status and other reports.
Assist with the preparation of proposals.
Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.
Attend seminars and/or training classes.
Grow and maintain excellent client relations.
Maintain a safe working environment.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required

Skills/Experience:

5-10 years of experience required
Professional Engineer License preferred
