Requirements
  • BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required and maintained, and online BLS certification is not acceptable
  • Must meet one of the following: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing and must maintain a current state license of practical nursing
  • Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Must meet one of the following: Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience, OR Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current Minnesota EMT License
Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and appropriately document necessary visit information and vitals such as height, weight, and blood pressure
  • Prepare and administer medications, and immunizations as directed by a clinician, RN or following standing orders
  • Perform and assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the clinician, such as administering, ear lavage, EKGs, and bladder scans
  • Ensure all the components of the standard rooming process are completed including medication reconciliation and pending refills, allergy review, immunization reconciliation, completion of appropriate forms and questionnaires to support clinical quality
  • Maintain knowledge of, and comply with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures, and standards
Desired Qualifications
  • One or more years of healthcare experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine)

In her new role, Stobba leads efforts to ensure timely and appropriate access to care across HealthPartners' care group, including primary and specialty care, and hospital-based services. Her work focuses on building simple and predictable systems for patients to get the care they need and want, when and where they want it. HealthPartners names Sarah Karlgaard chief legal officer. May 18, 2026 BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - HealthPartners today announced that Sarah Karlgaard will join the organization as senior vice president and chief legal officer beginning May 18. Karlgaard will oversee legal, clinical risk management, integrity and compliance, physical security and sustainability. She will work closely with executive and operational leaders to advance strategic priorities while ensuring strong legal and regulatory stewardship.
