- Tint and mix paint to customer specification.
- Work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store.
- Achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
- Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately.
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
- Preparing drawdowns for submittal to customers.
- Clean, fill, and repair equipment, as needed.
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
- Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
- Stock shelves and set up displays.
- Clean store equipment.
- Load/unload delivery trucks.
- Assist in making deliveries, as needed.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
- Comply with inventory control procedures.
- Suggest ways to improve sales
- Have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Have at least a High School diploma or GED
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

The automotive repair bays of the former Midas shop, which closed in 2019, have been thoroughly stripped, retrofitted, and converted into a bright, modern paint showroom and mixing facility. [ new location details] address: 4457 Fauntleroy Way SW hours: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (weekdays) 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (saturdays) 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (sundays). Now you can add to the list... paint. More than a decade after a built-from-scratch Sherwin-Williams store opened in Delridge, the paint chain has opened its second West Seattle store in the former Midas space at 4457 Fauntleroy. Thanks to Ian for the tip; though they had told us two months ago that they were aiming for a fall opening, things apparently moved faster. The plan for the space has been in the works for more than two years; Midas closed there in 2019. The new store's hours are 7 am-6 pm weekdays, 8 am-5 pm Saturdays, 10 am-4 pm Sundays.

On April 1, Citi lowered its price recommendation on The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE:SHW) to $385 from $410. It reiterated a Buy rating on the shares. The firm said a spike in oil prices, along with supply disruptions, has affected most key raw materials used in coatings. Earlier, on March 19, RBC Capital also lowered its price goal on SHW to $376 from $390 and maintained an Outperform rating. The analyst noted that the company's end markets still appear choppy.
