Requirements
  • 12-15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level information technology, including at least 10 years focused on Microsoft 365 platforms and services in a significant leadership capacity within a large, complex organization.
  • A proven track record of leading, managing, and developing large, geographically dispersed technical teams, including managers and individual contributors.
  • The ability to define, articulate, and execute complex technology strategies and roadmaps for critical enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Deep architectural and engineering understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Purview, Windows 365, and the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, as well as advanced security and compliance features.
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 solutions within stringent security, governance, and regulatory frameworks, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities for navigating complex technical, organizational, and business challenges.
Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for all Microsoft 365 platforms and services, aligning them with firm objectives, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of engineers and technical managers while fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide executive oversight for the design, architecture, and implementation of complex enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 solutions, including Windows 365 and the Power Platform, ensuring scalability, security, resilience, and integration with firm-wide systems.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards for Microsoft 365 services in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory mandates.
  • Collaborate with senior product owners, enterprise architects, engineering leads, compliance, risk, and business-unit leaders to understand strategic requirements, manage expectations, and drive successful outcomes.
  • Drive the evaluation, piloting, and strategic adoption of new Microsoft 365 features, emerging technologies, and artificial-intelligence capabilities such as Copilot, Teams, and the Power Platform.
  • Oversee operational, performance, and incident-management processes for Microsoft 365 environments, serve as an executive escalation point for critical issues, and ensure rapid resolution and root-cause analysis.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments, Power Platform integrations, custom integrations, and advanced automation strategies for Microsoft 365 management and operations.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles across Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform, with experience managing hybrid cloud environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or similar.
  • Prior experience in a senior technology leadership role within a global financial institution, with understanding of industry-specific challenges and regulations.
  • Proficiency in advanced PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, and other automation frameworks for Microsoft 365 management and operations.

Varmora Granito raises ₹212 Cr from anchor investors ahead of ₹708 Cr IPO

Varmora Granito raised ₹212.4 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹708 crore IPO, which opens for public subscription on 22 September. The tiles and bathware maker allotted 1.43 crore equity shares to 17 funds at ₹148 per share, the top end of the price band. Anchor investors included Goldman Sachs, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Bandhan Mutual Fund, and BNP Paribas Financial Markets. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹320 crore and an offer for sale of ₹388 crore by investor Katsura Investments. The Rajkot-based company will use proceeds to repay borrowings and clear subsidiary dues. Shares are set to list on BSE and NSE on 29 September.

Goldman Sachs and Hisaria Group acquire stake in Lord's Mark Industries as promoter sells 10M shares

Lord's Mark Industries Limited, a diversified company operating in healthcare, diagnostics, renewable energy and LED solutions, has attracted investment from Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius I and AT Trade Overseas following open-market transactions. Promoter Dr Sachidanand Hariram Upadhyay sold approximately 1 crore shares through open-market transactions to comply with SEBI's Minimum Public Shareholding requirements. The transactions saw participation from Goldman Sachs and the Hisaria Group-owned AT Trade Overseas. Despite the sale, the promoter group retains a substantial holding in the company. The participation of institutional investors adds visibility to Lord's Mark Industries' shareholder base as it continues to scale operations across its business verticals.

Energy trading firm Xpansiv raises fresh capital backed by Blackstone and Goldman Sachs

Granules India promoter sells 7% stake for $180M to fund growth plans

Krishna Prasad Chigurupati, promoter of Hyderabad-based Granules India, sold nearly 7% of his stake in the pharmaceutical company on Friday, raising over ₹1,500 crore. The transaction involved 1.72 crore shares sold through 22 block deals and open-market transactions at ₹872.50 per share, representing a 3% discount to the previous closing price. The deal attracted participation from nearly two dozen investors, including Capital Group, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company, ChrysCapital, and Allspring. Smallcap World Fund Ind acquired the largest chunk, purchasing 34.7 lakh shares for ₹303 crore. Granules India stated the funds will support the second tranche of its ongoing preferential issue and next phase of growth initiatives. Following the sale, promoter group shareholding declined to 31% from 38%. The deal carries a 180-day lock-in period.
