About the job
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing degree is required.
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting is required.
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association.
- Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support through the American Heart Association.
- Current CPI certification.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in the Medical-Surgical unit in accordance with the established patient care plan and nursing philosophy.
