Internship Program Overview
At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their careers, all while making a giant impact. We offer 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions.
Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, and team-building activities. Additionally, interns will have access to online learnings and a dedicated Summer Coach to further grow their careers with us.

We are the Experience Team (EX)! We are made up of Product Designers, UX Researchers, Technical Writers, Design Operations, Design Technologists and Visual Designers.

UX Research Intern - What you will do:
- Represent the needs of customers and their end users, gathered via various research methodologies from discovery through design validation techniques
- Participate in planning and facilitation, analysis and reporting on various research initiatives.
- Communicate your findings through artifacts such as personas, journeys, task analyses, etc. as needed to your core team.
- Partner closely with Sr. UX staff to help influence the product strategy and roadmaps with validated user research findings.
- Support design formative or summative validation through iterative usability testing.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in the Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or other related degrees
- Graduating December 2025, or later
- Able to work full time for 12-weeks during the summer
- Portfolio of work is required at time of interview
- Experience successfully applying customer-centered research and mixed design methods, highly preferred
- Working knowledge of planning, developing and conducting User Research and Testing
- Comfortable in a customer facing role where you need to represent the ServiceNow brand

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $38.62 - $43.04, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
