Position Overview:
This role is high activity inside sales involving quick responses to inbound leads, as well as targeted follow-ups to convert warm prospects into active opportunities. We provide hands-on training, call coaching, script support, and access to modern sales tools to help you succeed. Successful inside sales representatives will have growth opportunities to join our outside sales/production team.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with potential clients via phone and/or email to introduce our insurance products and services.
- Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Prepare and present insurance quotes to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our offerings.
- Follow up with leads and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Collaborate with the agency team to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through policy issuance.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in our client management system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape to effectively position our agency's solutions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable making several phone calls each day.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using client management software and other sales tools.
- Insurance licensing (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe) is preferred.
