About the job

Requirements
  • Eight years of consulting experience developing trusted client relationships and demonstrating sales growth from business development through delivery, including RFPs, oral presentations, client sales presentations, and delivery.
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated success advising senior executives, including C-suite leaders, on strategic and operational challenges is a plus.
  • Experience in sales account leadership and/or one of the listed industries—B&CM, CGRT, Health, LS, CMT/S&P/HT (Tech), or Industrials—is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Accelerate Accenture's growth in Private Equity accounts and meet the Private Equity financial plan, with proven origination examples.
  • Represent Accenture services and work in the Americas, build brand recognition and relationships across investment partners, operating partners, and functions, and serve as the single point of contact for sales and delivery across the portfolio.
  • Establish Accenture as the first call for more than three topics, such as AI, carve-outs, bolt-ons, and technology due diligence; build sell-to opportunities for parent private equity firms and sell-with or sell-to opportunities for portfolio-company C-suite leaders in collaboration with portfolio-company client account leads; shape propositions and commercial constructs to achieve preferred-partner status or a master services agreement.
  • Develop strategic relationships with private-equity-relevant ecosystem partners, including SAP, Oracle, AWS, and niche solution providers, and collaborate on go-to-market approaches.
  • Promote Accenture's influence and reputation in the private equity industry through events, participation or speaking at private equity conferences, and leadership publications, demonstrating understanding of the culture and language of the private equity firm and its sector.
  • Strengthen private equity knowledge and culture within Accenture to improve delivery quality and interactions with private equity firms.
  • Foster a diverse, innovative, and collaborative environment across Accenture teams serving private equity firms and portfolio companies through talent management, coaching, engagement, and connection.
  • Travel as required, with the amount varying from 25% to 80% based on business needs and client requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to build understanding of private equity value-creation levers, including deal lifecycle, carve-outs, bolt-ons, exits, and operating-model changes.
  • Ability to translate private equity and portfolio-company needs into appropriately sized Accenture solutions in collaboration with reinvention partners and industry leaders.
  • Executive presence and comfort engaging investment and operating partners at private equity firms and leaders at portfolio companies.
  • Ability to collaborate across Accenture teams to build sell-to and sell-with pipelines across multiple portfolio companies.
  • Ability to identify repeatable regional plays, including AI, carve-outs, ERP modernization, cybersecurity, and shared services.
  • Demonstrated drive to oversee and sometimes manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to lead through credibility, clarity, and conviction rather than hierarchy; align leaders and teams around a shared agenda; and challenge misaligned pursuits or resourcing decisions.
  • Ability to learn and use the language of private equity, including returns, speed, complexity reduction, and decisive action; bring points of view rather than updates; and position Accenture as the first call for priority topics.
  • Ability to shape regional private equity go-to-market motions, adapt global offerings to regional client realities, and partner effectively with ecosystem players such as SAP, Oracle, hyperscalers, and niche firms.
  • Ability to run the portfolio like a profit-and-loss owner; rigorously track sales, revenue, margin, and pipeline health; and determine when to accelerate, fix, or exit coverage.

Accenture jumps 19% on earnings beat as SEC opens private assets to retail investors

Accenture shares rose about 19% after the consulting firm beat earnings and revenue expectations for its fiscal 2026 year, and guided fiscal 2027 slightly above Wall Street forecasts. Revenue grew 5% in local currency; management expects 3% to 6% growth next year. Non-GAAP operating margin edged up to 15.8%. The stock had dipped below 10 times expected earnings and now trades at about 14 times. Accenture said 65% of new bookings came from outcome-based fixed-price projects, which a Motley Fool contributor called a counterweight to AI's unpredictable costs. Separately, new US Securities and Exchange Commission rules aim to open private assets to retail investors. They raise the performance fee cap for registered advisers, add professional licences as a route to accredited investor status, and give private funds more leeway on redemptions.

Accenture eyes $1.5B Greater China sale while building Gemini AI launchpads for US agencies

Accenture's federal arm, Accenture Federal Services, is working with Google Public Sector on Gemini launchpads for US federal agencies. Separately, Accenture is reviewing options for its Greater China business, including a possible sale. A deal was reported at up to $1.5 billion, and the company has hired JPMorgan to explore options. Accenture, a US-based IT consulting and managed services group, has a market value of about $141.3 billion. Investors are watching for contract wins from the Gemini work and any formal update on the China review.

TÜV SÜD and Accenture unveil physical AI safety suite to bring factories online up to 30% sooner

TÜV SÜD and Accenture are working with NVIDIA technologies to speed up safety certification of robots in factories and warehouses. They unveiled a joint "Physical AI Safety Suite" at NVIDIA GTC Berlin. The suite uses digital twins, AI agents, and simulations to partly replace manual assessments. TÜV SÜD estimates the digital process could bring production online up to 30% sooner. Certification against standards such as ISO 3691-4 is mandatory in many industrial countries before automated facilities can start. At a medium-sized plant, agreeing on safety concepts can take several weeks. The suite checks layouts, robot fleets, and individual robots before deployment. TÜV SÜD provides independent assessment and keeps responsibility for certification.

Accenture caps staff AI spending at $29 a month after $1,000 bills

Accenture has capped employee AI spending at $29 (£21.75) a month after some staff ran up bills of $1,000, according to a report by 404 Media. The consulting firm wants to curb runaway costs as employees use AI for more everyday tasks. Companies are typically billed by usage, like a utility. Last week, some staff were told their access to Anthropic's Claude had been pulled entirely. Others are also reining in costs. Uber capped engineers' Claude spending at $1,500 a month after using up its AI budget in four months, while Microsoft has reportedly cut its Claude spending by about a third. The curbs come as Anthropic prepares for a public listing, targeting a valuation as high as $2tn. Investors are reportedly considering about $1.5tn.

Accenture's AI push: analysts see earnings reaching $10.3B by 2029 on 5.2% yearly revenue growth

Accenture is shifting AI work from pilots to deeply embedded systems, according to recent deals with UMass Memorial Health, Dell, Microsoft and Workday. The UMass Memorial project is a multi-year AI data platform, while the Dell alliance pitches private AI infrastructure to regulated clients. Analysts expect revenue to grow 5.2% a year over the next three years, with profit margins rising from 11.3% to 11.9%. They forecast earnings of $10.3 billion by 2029, up from $8.4 billion today, on revenue of $86.3 billion. The stock trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.2x, against 21.9x for US IT peers. Risks include slower decision cycles in federal and EMEA work, which could curb consulting demand and margins.
