Requirements
  • Two years of drywall installation experience, with commercial drywall installation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and use basic measurement tools accurately, including a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Measure, mark, and cut drywall panels according to specifications.
  • Read blueprints or other specifications to determine installation methods, work procedures, and material or tool requirements.
  • Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Cut openings for electrical outlets, windows, doors, vents, and other fixtures using cutting tools.
  • Inspect installed drywall for alignment, fit, and quality standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work environment clean.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.
