Eight to ten years of experience in market research, business consulting, or data analysis, preferably in a consulting environment.
Proven experience managing research teams, multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting large datasets into actionable recommendations.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including engaging clients and senior stakeholders.
Proficiency with market research tools and databases such as Gartner and Statista, Excel, and data visualization tools.
High attention to detail and a track record of accurate, comprehensive reporting.
Fluency in both English and Arabic.

About the role
Strategic Gears is looking for a Market Research Manager to join the team in Cairo. You will own the research function end-to-end — setting methodology standards, leading primary data collection, and translating findings into actionable insights that drive client strategy. Beyond hands-on research, you will lead and develop a team of researchers, oversee fieldwork quality, and act as a senior point of contact for clients on research scope and deliverables.
