Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as a floor buffer or sweeper.
Responsibilities
Wash floors, furnishings, equipment, windows, doors, and walls with cleaning solutions and disinfectants; prepare cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Clean and scrub basins, sinks, lavatories, and toilets.
Replenish soap, tissue, towels, and similar supplies.
Dust, wipe, and clean cabinets, closets, shelves, vents, showers, pictures, and desks.
Collect trash and empty garbage; pick up trash from outside buildings.
Sweep, mop, and dust floors; strip old wax from floors, apply new wax, and buff floors.
Perform related duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
One year or more of paid custodial experience.
Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain a City of Hoover Driver's Permit.
