Requirements
  • 2+ years as front desk clerk in remote or hotel experience required inclusive of travel and booking software platforms
  • 2+ years administration/customer service
  • 1 year in a remote camp
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Detail oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient using MS Office programs
Responsibilities
  • Ensures the smooth running of reception and computer systems for bookings
  • Greets customers and answer their queries
  • Receives and registers guests as they arrive
  • Verifies and posts purchase invoices and debit notes, if any; sees to it that the entries have correct accounts and department codes, correct information and correct amounts
  • Verifies and posts sales invoices and credit memos, if any; sees to it that the entries have correct accounts and department codes, correct information and correct amounts; controls that all regular monthly invoices are posted to the corresponding month and vendor
  • Checks the Lodges monthly reports and sees to it that the reports tallied with accounting figures; reconciles with various supervisors if there are problems with their monthly reports - any discrepancies need to be explained
  • Prepares monthly entries for all transactions concerning cessions ins and outs, movements, back charges, physical inventory end, floating stock; prints and distributes to the supervisors of each units the monthly ending physical inventory and floating stocks
  • Completes clearing of general ledger accounts and petty cash
  • Makes the weekly closing for the board sheets
  • Ensures that all daily reports are completed correctly
  • Controls and coordinates the transfers of rooms
  • Notifies customers of their daily mail
  • Reports any damages to the maintenance staff for repair given to the reception by guests
  • Other duties as assigned.

ATCO Acquires NRB for $40 Million
