About the job
- Hold an Assisted Living Administrator Certification.
- Have prior Executive Director or Administrator experience.
- Have previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Have 1–2 years of experience in senior living.
- Be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Hold an Associate's degree.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere.
- Demonstrate effective communication and lead by example while ensuring outstanding attention to detail in resident care and well-being.
- Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships.
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including care delivery, food service, and facilities management, to meet or exceed operational standards.
- Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a team.
- Have direct responsibility for financial management and regulatory compliance of the community.
- Oversee the sales and marketing process to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
- Have experience managing operating expenses of at least $1 million annually.
- Have previous sales or business development experience, including identifying and building local relationships to drive business and effective product pricing and revenue maximization.
- Have experience facilitating small-group presentations.
- Have previous work experience with residents and families.
- Have previous work experience with state surveyors or regulators.
