Serve as an outsourced accountant and financial advisor for a portfolio of schools.
Oversee the schools’ day-to-day full-cycle accounting and compliance, including accounts payable, payroll, grants administration, and regulatory compliance.
Close the books monthly, quarterly, and annually and prepare monthly financial statements.
Project-manage schools’ annual fiscal audits, complete necessary year-end statements and schedules, serve as the schools’ primary contact during fieldwork, and assist with Form 990 preparation.
Analyze, model, and solve problems across a wide range of business issues.
Liaise with the state education authority and charter authorizer as relevant.
Partner with the School Finance Manager to provide high-quality customer service.
Support other EdOps team members and contribute to the growth of the internal team.
Own the day-to-day financial and monthly accounting close processes for multiple schools.
Independently manage the annual financial cycle for a portfolio of schools.
Complete cyclical compliance reporting and annual fiscal audits independently.
