Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent experience
  • General understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices
  • Knowledge of construction documents and all specifications of the project to identify when elements fall out of conformance
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate
  • In Massachusetts only and on any public or MSBA projects, requirement that the OPM/ Clerk of Works must be (1) a registered Architect or professional engineer, with at least five (5) years’ experience in building and construction and supervision or at least seven (7) years of experience in building construction and supervision
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using Adobe or Bluebeam
  • Experience with Procore, eBuilder or other Project Controls Software
Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed and professional daily reports on all on-site activities
  • Confirm work is completed in conformance with construction documents
  • Maintain digital logs of submittals and RFIs
  • Check materials delivered against approved submittals
  • Attend meetings and review meeting minutes
  • Review requisitions and confirm completed work
  • Enter time and expenses in a timely manner
  • Collaborate effectively with project team members
  • Observe and report site safety violations
  • Assist with monthly review of project schedule updates
