Commercial Technology Lawyer

We are currently seeking Commercial Technology Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom's clients across a diverse selection of industries.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial technology agreements, including SaaS agreements, software licensing agreements, cloud services agreements, technology development agreements, vendor agreements, data processing agreements, and digital services contracts.
• Advise on technology transactions and commercial contracting matters across software, platforms, digital products, AI-enabled tools, cloud solutions, apps, and emerging technologies.
• Provide legal guidance on intellectual property, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, AI, platform regulation, online services, and wider technology-related regulatory matters.
• Partner with product, engineering, procurement, sales, procurement, and business teams to support technology transactions, product launches, digital initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial technology, technology transactions, product counselling, data privacy, intellectual property, or technology regulatory matters, gained in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating technology-related agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud, vendor, digital services, technology development, or data-related contracts.
• Strong understanding of technology business models, including software, SaaS, digital platforms, apps, cloud services, AI tools, or other emerging technology products.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice to commercial, product, engineering, sales, procurement, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
