Requirements

- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval.
- Prepare accounts payable checks.
- Post all open accounts payable items daily.
- Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files.
- Reconcile statements and the ledger to ensure payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
- Communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
- Audit freight bills against freight inquiries.
- Analyze vendor accounts.
- Provide the title clerk with information on purchased vehicles for the title list.
- Answer all vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile bank balances daily.
- Reconcile time cards, prepare worksheets for the office manager, and post payroll weekly.
- Post flat-rate flag sheets weekly.
- Assist with monthly closings.
- Prepare account analyses as required.
- Assist with accounts receivable and special projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties or projects assigned by management.
