Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
  • A state-issued registered nurse license is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required.
  • A minimum of two years of direct intensive care unit experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
  • Practice safe medication administration and assess patient responses to medication.
  • Participate in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
  • Float to all procedural units in the Central Region.
  • Work 60 hours in a six-week period, including one 10-hour shift per week and one holiday per season.
