Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
  • A master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • A current LCSW or LMFT license is required.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Must pass orientation and the initial competency assessment and complete ongoing required training.
  • AVADE certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Must complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and yearly 5150 professional staff authorization.
  • Live Scan fingerprint clearance required by the Department of Healthcare Services.
Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluations and individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Provide mental health education to patients and, as appropriate, to the community and other professionals.
  • Maintain a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week.
  • Participate in evidence-based therapy training and education and supervision activities connected to identified areas of clinician interest and programmatic needs of Ohana.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Prioritize safety and quality of care.
Desired Qualifications
  • Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
