Requirements
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field plus 5 years of related experience.
  • Requires 2 years of experience in the following: software development; applied machine learning; statistical learning; mathematical optimization; scalable computing; building production level code.
Responsibilities
  • Design experiments, collect and analyze user data such as age, gender, location, language, clicks, emails, recency statistics, etc. and organize the data in appropriate data structure.
  • Create predictive models, including classification, regression, neural networks or their combinations, which give the probability that a given user will do something (ex: user will buy something after seeing an ad, etc.).
  • Clean data, organize data, find outliers, dimensional reduction and identify right predictive model.
  • Create casual machine learning models to reduce confounding.
  • Use of expertise in machine learning and statistical learning techniques such as classification and regression to produce models applicable to pricing and targeting.
  • Apply mathematical optimization techniques to solve network problems.
  • Experiment and build models that improve the capabilities of our marketing platform and allow for increases in yield.
  • Work with our Engineer and Business teams to implement scalable, reliable and useful solutions for our various business units.
