Requirements
  • Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York
  • Active DEA licensure in New York
  • Experience working with populations from children to geriatric in a clinical setting
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Responsibilities
  • Providing therapy and medication management for diverse group of patients
  • Working in a team-based approach with other clinicians and healthcare navigators
  • Regular supervision with psychiatrist for first 2 months

Valera Health, based in Brooklyn, NY, has acquired digital suicide prevention startup Vita Health, expanding its digital psychiatry services. The merger aims to enhance clinical capacity and advance value-based care. The deal, closed on May 21, is a merger of equity, not a liquidity event. Valera has raised $79.5 million since 2015, with $44.5 million in 2022 and $9.1 million in 2024. Vita Health, based in New Haven, CT, raised $31 million. Valera now employs about 250 clinicians.
