Requirements
  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
  • At least 3 years of aircraft maintenance, field maintenance, or Aircraft on Ground maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft is preferred.
  • A valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license is required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • The candidate must be able to pass Department of Transportation pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings.
  • The candidate must hold a current mechanic certificate with valid FAA airframe and powerplant ratings.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain SIDA or non-SIDA airport badges by passing an airport background check.
  • The candidate must pass a comprehensive background check, including a Transportation Security Administration fingerprint-based criminal records check.
  • The candidate must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The candidate must be able to travel with the assigned aircraft.
  • The candidate must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp; work at heights exceeding 5 feet and in confined spaces; and accurately judge distances.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex situations, processes, and procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the technical integrity of assigned aircraft.
  • Assist the flight crew with in-flight checklist procedures and system troubleshooting to ensure safety of flight.
  • Perform and coordinate repairs, servicing, and troubleshooting, and keep pilots informed about aircraft grounding situations.
  • Assist the flight crew with complex logistical situations arising from aircraft technical problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframe systems, turbine engines, and appliances in compliance with FAA Part 145 standards.
  • Comply with airworthiness directives, manufacturer service bulletins, and other technical requirements.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, structural, and avionics issues under high-pressure conditions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Perform Return to Service duties.
  • Communicate repair timelines and updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with inspection personnel and provide detailed discrepancy reports.
  • Identify, report, and mitigate hazards, safety risks, and safety management deficiencies.
  • Ensure work complies with FAA and company safety and quality policies.
