Requirements
  • Several years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a comparable data-driven role.
  • Very strong SQL skills and practical production experience with dbt, including tests, documentation, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and GitHub workflows.
  • A strong understanding of data modeling, data warehouse design, extract-transform-load/extract-load-transform processes, and their effects on scalability and reporting performance.
  • Practical experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse or data lake solutions, as well as a business intelligence tool such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of Python or a similar scripting or analysis tool for in-depth analysis, prototyping, and automation.
  • The ability to explain complex data and relationships clearly and provide service- and solution-oriented support to internal stakeholders.
  • A structured, independent way of working, an ownership mindset, and very good written and spoken German and English.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain dbt models and data pipelines that transform raw data into clean, documented, and reliable datasets.
  • Establish a single source of truth for metrics so that all teams work with the same trusted numbers.
  • Design scalable data warehouse schemas, including dimensional models, facts, and dimensions, with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost.
  • Integrate data from company-wide systems into the data lake or data warehouse and consolidate cross-system data flows.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports, for example in Metabase, that enable business departments to act independently based on data.
  • Continuously secure and improve data quality through monitoring, dbt tests, and clear standards for reliable analytics and artificial intelligence use cases.
  • Work closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, and the leadership team, translating business questions into meaningful metrics and analyses.

Multiverse acquires StackFuel to train 100,000 German workers in AI skills

Multiverse, Europe's only EdTech unicorn, has acquired StackFuel, Germany's leading data and AI training provider, with the companies setting an immediate goal to train 100,000 German workers in AI skills. Financial terms were not disclosed. Berlin-based StackFuel delivers training for large corporates including Mercedes Benz, IAV and Telefónica, and boasts a 92% programme completion rate. Co-founders Leo Marose and Stefan Berntheisel will join Multiverse's senior leadership team. The acquisition supports Germany's ambition to close its AI and data skills gap, with AI potentially adding €4.5 trillion to the country's GDP over the next 15 years. London-headquartered Multiverse partners with over 1,500 global companies and has been delivering training in Germany since 2025.
