Responsibilities
Greet members and guests as they enter and leave the Fitness Center.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workout equipment, machines, and lobby areas.
Correctly use and adjust the fitness machines and provide assistance when needed.
Perform opening and closing procedures during each shift.
Maintain knowledge of services offered.
Restock locker room supplies and provide towel services.
Perform administrative duties.
Ensure residents adhere to Fitness Center policies at all times.
Answer incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
Monitor the Fitness Center and enforce rules and policies for guests and members.
Apply risk-management skills and maintain the Fitness Center.
We are seeking a service-oriented, positive, and hard-working individual with an interest in health and fitness who is also a reliable, organized, forward-thinking problem solver with exceptional interpersonal skills to work on a SUB basis as shift coverage needs arise. Shift hours for this position will vary between 12pm - 9pm on weekdays, and 8am - 12pm on weekends.
Job Description:
Fitness Staff member’s priority is ensuring that guests and members have an exceptional experience in the Fitness Center. Fitness staff will be responsible for monitoring the Fitness Center and enforcing all rules and policies to guests and members attending. They must learn how to correctly use the weight machines and equipment available and be able to provide assistance when needed. Fitness Staff must be able to perform opening/closing duties of the fitness center.
