Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in business analytics, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in SQL and Looker.
  • Deep understanding of data processes and how they relate to business objectives.
  • Experience leading a team and managing complex analytics projects.
  • Exceptional data mining abilities, particularly with SQL, and a natural curiosity to dig deep into the metrics to solve problems or identify opportunities.

  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, retail operations, and wholesale distribution is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Looker, SQL, Shopify, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and other BI tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team and successfully collaborate on large projects.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to complete deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive business analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze sales/transactional data, customer behavior, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce, marketing, planning, merchandising, and other teams to optimize marketing campaigns and promotions based on data-driven insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Validate the integrity of reporting input drivers to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
  • Utilize data to identify disruptive ideas and provide recommendations to business leaders across the organization for growth and scalability.
  • Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, creating, analyzing, documenting, and validating user and/or technical (functional/non-functional) requirements.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track and report on key performance metrics across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Work closely with the finance team to forecast sales, monitor budget performance, and support financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and data scientists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of analytics projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in business analytics to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
