Our Senior Developer Advocates are technical leaders and mentors that anchor our teams. They own projects from beginning to end, facilitating collaboration and enabling Datadog’s community to solve real-world problems. With a focus on Cloud (AWS), you will have the opportunity to work with key leaders across the industry, and broaden your impact to the cloud native community at large. What You’ll Do:

• Speak at conferences, meetups, webinars, and partner events to educate developers in cloud
• Create content in one or more modes to build Datadog’s reputation as a leader in DevOps, Monitoring, Observability and Security e.g. building demos, public speaking, blogging, documentation, webinars, open source, research reports and more
• Work closely with Datadog’s Cloud Alliances team and industry partners as a trusted advisor for technical content
• Partner with product engineering teams to build compelling demos, and coach internal engineering teams on effective communication and presentation
• Contribute to the product through feedback (bugs or product enhancements suggestions), documentation, or code
• Identify and pursue opportunities for events, programs, and other community-focused work that establishes trust with developers
  
  

Who You Are:

• You think in ecosystems, not products
• You love to integrate different technologies and connect people
• 10+ years experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner; including building and maintaining production systems with AWS services 
• 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating compelling content e.g. written content, conference talks, leading workshops, live streaming or recording videos, contributing to open source, and participating in community events
• Able to communicate with technical users of all skill levels, from junior developers to CTOs
• You enjoy self driven exploration and education on new technologies and languages
