Advanced Behavioral Health (Connecticut)

View

ABH is a nonprofit behavioral health administrative services organization that coordinates state-funded mental health and substance use services in Connecticut and the Northeast. It combines administrative operations (utilization management, provider network administration, claims processing, quality assurance, data management) with direct care management and serves as a hub for other providers, partnering with DMHAS and DCF to implement statewide programs. Its services include ECCP, Military Support Program, Employee Assistance Programs, and community-based supports for people with serious mental illness. ABH differentiates itself through its hybrid model focused on program execution and service quality within a nonprofit framework, aiming to stabilize the provider network, expand access, and improve outcomes for all ages.
