Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, dispatch/logistics, or operations management
  • Knowledge of various regulatory fields including DOT
  • Ability to evaluate the costs of inventory storage, handling, and delivery dispatch
  • Ability to map current processes and recommend improved, sustainable, and measurable solutions for improvement
  • Skills in coaching and training on systems and processes
  • Experience identifying and assessing improvement opportunities through diagnostic efforts and data analysis
  • Experience implementing metrics to measure operational performance more effectively
  • Experience in equipment and machinery maintenance (trucks, trailers, etc.) is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
  • Drive warehouse management and delivery dispatch efficiencies, reliability and responsiveness through effective development and utilization of people, process, and infrastructure.
  • Manage cost, compliance, quality, safety, customer service, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and DOT teams to determine needs and set priorities.
  • Implement warehouse management and delivery dispatch systems and processes.
  • Implement performance metrics and reporting standards for warehouse management and delivery dispatch in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop organizational awareness, understanding, and support for adoption of best practices.
  • Manage custom application equipment and provide service for other branches for custom spreading of fertilizer and crop protection products.
