About the job
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, or equivalent experience or education in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Special Education.
- Experience working one-on-one with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental and behavioral needs.
- Comfort coaching or collaborating with parents or guardians on-screen to assist with environmental modifications and physical prompting when necessary.
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
- Comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards, and ability to keep students engaged online.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.
- Deliver individualized virtual behavior support and academic coaching tailored to each student's behavioral goals, accommodations, and learning profile.
- Implement structured behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, focusing on skill acquisition, emotional regulation, and reducing challenging behaviors that impact learning.
- Adapt instruction and reinforcement in real time based on student focus, engagement, and emotional regulation, using digital rewards and interactive tools to maintain momentum.
- Track behavior data during sessions and communicate with families, supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and, where applicable, school district partners.
- Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.
