Principal Electrical Systems Design Engineer

What will you do?

• Design and optimize electrical power systems including AC, DC, and hybrid networks for various market applications
• Define technical strategies, equipment specifications, and engineering standards that drive project excellence
• Provide technical troubleshooting and risk assessment for complex system challenges at customer sites and labs
• Guide engineering teams through technical reviews and mentor colleagues on advanced design principles

What are the key skills we are looking for?

• Electrical Engineering — advanced level; designing robust power systems that meet customer requirements and industry standards
• Power Systems Design — advanced level; architecting electrical networks from conceptual design through detailed engineering studies
• Electrical Distribution Systems — advanced level; specifying and integrating HV, MV, and LV distribution architectures
• Design Optimization — advanced level; balancing performance, cost, and reliability in complex system designs
• Technical Solution Design — advanced level; translating customer needs into implementable electrical solutions
• Installation Design — advanced level; creating detailed specifications for system implementation and commissioning
• Problem Solving — advanced level; resolving ambiguous technical challenges that impact project outcomes
• Critical Thinking — advanced level; analyzing system interactions and identifying potential risks before they materialize
