Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of experience are required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must have strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • The candidate must be flexible and willing to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Educate incoming freshman students, transfer students, parents, and counselors about Le Moyne College and the overall college admission process.
  • Manage all aspects of college admission, including recruitment, counseling, academic advising, and evaluation of prospective students and applicants.
  • Participate as an active member of the professional admission team to design, develop, and implement marketing and recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Manage assigned primary, secondary, and tertiary geographic territories by conducting extensive travel, building pipelines, leading recruitment events, and expanding institutional reach.
  • Counsel, advise, and interview prospective first-year and transfer students throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
  • Evaluate prospective students' application materials and make final recommendations on admission decisions.
  • Conduct targeted telemarketing and outreach activities for prospective students and applicants.
  • Lead the organization and execution of on-campus events with support from the Director of First Year Admission.
  • Plan and host on-campus programs for specific student demographics.
  • Deliver inclusive and culturally sensitive guidance about the college admission process and access to Le Moyne College to diverse students, parents, and counselors.
  • Perform assigned program responsibilities, such as travel coordination and tour-guide coordination.
  • Build, expand, and maintain an internal recruitment database.
  • Visit high schools, junior colleges, and multicultural agencies in the Metro New York area to educate students and counselors about Le Moyne College, build relationships, and expand college visibility.
  • Conduct off-campus interviews during recruiting trips.
  • Engage with local alumni during travel to strengthen relationships and support local enrollment initiatives.
  • Represent Le Moyne College at organized off-campus recruiting programs, including college nights, national and regional college fairs, and mini-days.
  • Plan, schedule, and present student information sessions in targeted geographic areas.
  • Plan, schedule, and present off-campus guidance-counselor breakfasts, dinners, and association meetings.
  • Participate in panel presentations at secondary schools when invited.
  • Coordinate or assist with other admission-related events and programs.
  • Demonstrate and role-model Le Moyne's mission-based competencies in interactions with community members and external parties.
  • Strengthen digital literacy through education and the application of digital technologies for information gathering, utilization, and data management while promoting a security culture.
  • Support cura personalis by treating all individuals with dignity, professionalism, and kindness.
  • Promote cura apostolica by aligning professional goals, objectives, and performance with the college's strategic goals.
  • Attend and actively participate in required meetings and training sessions.
  • Comply with Le Moyne's policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and health and safety requirements.
  • Complete all required federal, state, institutional, and departmental training.
  • Engage in a planned program of professional development and maintain skills and knowledge relevant to the position, technology, operational requirements, and industry trends.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in an admission office is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
