Requirements
  • An engineering team lead with 3-5 years of experience
  • Has previously had at least 8 years of experience being an Engineering IC
  • A strong full-stack or backend developer, able to write code and guide your team through challenges
  • Have a player-coach mentality, able to dive into the code and manage their team
  • An exceptional project manager who has delivered difficult products on time and within scope
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and familiar with SaaS metrics and modern development practices
  • A flexible leader who can wear multiple hats as needed to help the team succeed
  • A leader who is comfortable and prefers working on teams where collaboration between design and product is high
Responsibilities
  • Managing a team of 2-5 senior developers across the full stack
  • Leading a stream-aligned squad from ideation to completion
  • Ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality, scalable solutions that align with business goals and meet deadlines
  • Providing feedback, mentorship, and support to individual developers
  • Demonstrating exceptional project management skills, delivering complex products on time and meeting specified requirements
  • Correlating team performance with business success, focusing on retention, customer acquisition, and other key business metrics
  • Tracking velocity with metrics like DORA to measure team and individual success
  • Delivering high-quality code in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Helping define and shape the direction of development teams
  • Working in teams where design, product and engineering work closely together
